Under årens lopp har jag träffat människor "online",
underbara, omtänksamma, vänliga, kärleksfulla och
fulla av humor.. Listan på deras egenskaper kan
göras lång.. De flesta har jag mött i grupper som jag
är eller har varit med i, vissa har jag ej kontakt med
längre, men de har fortfarande en speciell plats i
mitt hjärta. Vissa har jag fortfarande kontakt med..
ibland är det varje dag, ibland varje vecka som vi
pratar, då oftast via email eller MSN Messenger.
Jag trodde inte att man kunde lära känna människor
så väl, människor som man aldrig träffat, endast
pratat via datorn, och ibland per telefon.
Vi delar med oss allt i våra liv, glädje och sorg,
många skratt delar vi... vi stödjer varandra och
ger råd om det behövs, bara att finnas där och prata
räcker långt. När man är glad och lycklig över något
så är de också lyckliga för min skull, när man är
ledsen eller nere så finns de där med tröstande
och vägledande ord, som gör att man mår bättre...
och de är inte så långt borta.. bara ett "klick".
Det är svårt att förklara vad en "online vän"
är för någon.. kanske dessa dikter kan
förklara hur jag känner för dem :)

I had some free time, so what did I do? 
I checked the computer to see if I'd heard from you! 
I use to walk out to a box to retrieve mail. 
But I'd rather get it instantly, than wait on the snail! 

Checking my e-mail is always fun! 
I usually get a joke or greeting from someone. 
I feel so blessed because on the other end, 
I know I've connected with a friend! 

When I've had a hard day and need to share, 
Here I can find a friend who will listen and care. 
And to this friend I hope I've let them know 
That I am always there for them also! 

Isn't it a strange kind of bond we form? 
It isn't exactly like the "norm"! 
But where is it written, face to face we must be, 
For you to be a very good friend to me?? 

That little joke or note, or just a simple "Hi," 
Could be like a ray of sunshine from the sky! 
So my E-mail Pals, this is dedicated to you, 
For all the smiles you have made anew! 

May our friendship continue to grow, 
And the warmth we feel continue to flow! 
Always remember this... 
A smile is such an easy thing to pass along the way, 
Like a ray of summer sunshine, 
On a somewhat gloomy day!!

will never understand
You open up your heart
to friendship with your typing hand.

It's a world full friendship at your fingertips
there is so much online,
It only takes a heart
to reach people with your touch.

First you start out online surfing all around
Next thing you know a great friend will be found.

You will chat a lot and surf cyber space
Soon it will be your second home
a comforting special place.

A friend to share you dreams and your tears
and to help each other wipe away life's tears.

You will share life together
and help each other along
You will make it thru bad weather
because friendship so strong.

No matter how far apart you go
Your keyboards will keep you together
and in your heart you will know you
don't need a face to be true friends forever.

So, How do you explain this to
people who have never been online
I guess it takes a gesture of
friendship and a little bit of time

ANGELS HUGGING ANGELS

Have you ever found a friend that just
touches you deep inside?
You feel a special bond that you
simply cannot hide.
You give them a piece of your heart,
a view of what you are.
Sometimes they live close to you,
sometimes they live too far.

It really doesn't matter, you were friends
from the start...
Soon you realize their memory is a
piece of your heart.
You feel like they're an angel,
placed here just for you.
You are always amazed at the sweet
things that they do.

You don't have to see them or talk
to them every day,
To know that God has sent them in
His own special way.
How else could you explain,
this friendship and deep love...
It must be an angel,
sent from heaven above.

How can you love someone you
had never really seen?
The question you may ask,
Is this just a dream?
Soon you realize, your feelings
are quite sincere...
Your friendship will continue year after year.

Funny when you talk you both
seem to disagree...
I think you're the angel and
you think it is me.
When you really look at it,
you have to smile and say,
The touching of our souls has
taken place again today.

Tonight as I said my prayers,
I prayed for my friend.
I could not hardly wait until
we talked once again.
For God showed me the answer,
it was really quite simple,
A soul never sees a face, it would
not recognize a dimple.

The feeling of love one feels
for another friend,
The feeling of wanting to be with
each other again...
Is the inner joy,
that God places there.
The love one feels on top
of heaven's stairs.

So if you are lucky and you have
found such a friend,
Remember it is God,
who lives deep within.
It is God's wishes,
to one day look to see
Angels Hugging Angels,
perhaps it's you and me.
